La Pirogue

La Pirogue, on the west coast of Mauritius, is set over 14 acres of coconut plantation and tropical gardens with hibiscus and frangipani, stretching to a white sand beach. Thatched roofed bungalows are scattered throughout the grounds each with a private terrace; the main building has been designed to resemble the billowing sail of a traditional fishing boat. Dine at three onsite restaurants plus a further three at sister property Sugar Beach, indulging in fresh seafood dishes, a daily buffet and poolside Mauritian street food. Land and water sports will keep the whole family occupied with complimentary snorkelling, glass-bottom boat rides and kids’ and teens’ clubs.
